Repair / Installation tips:

Special tools needed? Have to remove other parts to reach this one? Any left-hand threads, sharp edges, messy fluids or other pitfalls to avoid?Requires removal of door panel which easily pulls away at bottom and sides after first freeing the interior door handle by removing the pop out cover. Pull away door panel and unplug wires then finish removing the door panel by lifting up and away from top edge that meets the window opening. Carefully, so as not to tear, pull away dust/moisture barrier to access motor.

Tools: 10mm deep socket to remove motor mounting nuts. Hold opposite side of nut bolt assembly to remove nuts. I was able to hold them by hand. After removing nuts gently but firmly tap the mounting bolts while wiggling the motor. It should slowly slide off out of the regulator gear. Make note of window position. Also check regulator condition to see if it is the problem.
