Looseness in wheel/tire when jacked up, and torn rubber boot indicated need for replacement.

What came in the box? Were additional nuts, bolts, sealant, etc. needed for the repair?
The castellated nut and cotter pin were NOT included. Make sure your nut is good, or get a new one. Use new cotter pin.

Special tools needed? Have to remove other parts to reach this one? Any left-hand threads, sharp edges, messy fluids or other pitfalls to avoid?
You need to loosen the old tie rod end and the tightening nut to remove. I had to use a really big wrenches for this.
