2001 mercury sable/ 24valve engine
my low coolant light kept coming on..even though my coolant level was good and the temp of engine never went up

Special tools needed? Have to remove other parts to reach this one? Any left-hand threads, sharp edges, messy fluids or other pitfalls to avoid?

don't know as yet. tackling in am..it looks pretty straight forward ...only thing not much room ... and trying to unplug sensor in bottom of reservoir
