Diagnosis and Part Selection Advice:
How did you know this part needed replacement? Why did you choose a certain brand/part number?
The old motor would make very loud clicking, grinding, and chirping noises. I decided to go with an AC Delco motor this time because I had two Balkamp motors from NAPA fail within only about six months.
Part Comments
What came in the box? Were additional nuts, bolts, sealant, etc. needed for the repair?
Motor and fan cage only. Make sure you keep the needed screws, hose, and ground wire terminal from the old motor.
Repair / Installation tips:
Special tools needed? Have to remove other parts to reach this one? Any left-hand threads, sharp edges, messy fluids or other pitfalls to avoid?
Very easy, just don't forget to remove the ground wire terminal on the old motor and to screw it back on to the new motor.
